Privacy and your data

Where your data is stored, who in your organization sees what, what happens to support questions and how long deleted things are kept.

You put business data into Qyveno. So you want to know where it is stored and who sees it. This page explains how that works. The full details are in the privacy statement (in Dutch). It also explains how to view, correct or delete your data.

Where your data is stored

An admin can see it in Administration › General, under Where your data is stored. By default it says Own server, the Netherlands.

Every organization has its own database. The data on your boards is kept separate from that of other organizations.

Who in your organization sees what

Within your organization, you decide who can do what:

  • Roles. An admin, member and viewer can each do different things. See Roles and permissions.
  • Closed workspaces. Only the members and the admins see such a workspace and everything in it. For everyone else it does not exist.
  • Hidden columns. With Restrict viewing, a column never reaches people who are not allowed to see it. Not in the table, filters, search, exports, dashboards or notifications.
  • Hours and working days per person. These are personal data. Only admins see them.

An admin can also check what is going on. Administration › Security has:

  • Active sessions: where people are signed in. Revoking a session signs that device out right away.
  • Audit log: who did what in the organization, such as administration, signing in and signing out. Passwords and links are not in it.

Support questions

When you send a question through the question mark › Contact and feedback, your message reaches Qyveno, together with any images you attach, your name, your email address and your organization. Colleagues and admins in your organization do not see it.

To help you faster, an AI assistant (Claude by Anthropic) writes a draft reply. For that, your subject, message and images go to Anthropic, not your name or email address. Someone at Qyveno reviews every draft and sends it themselves; the AI never sends you anything on its own. If you do not want this, tick No AI draft for this question in the form. More in the privacy statement.

To learn how to ask a question, see Contact and support.

Deleting and the trash

What you delete goes to the trash first. It stays there for 30 days, and you can restore it during that time. After that it is gone for good, including its files.

You find the trash in the profile menu, under Trash.
