Qyveno on your phone
How to use Qyveno in your phone's browser: the item list, the item panel, selecting items and what works differently from a computer.
Qyveno works on your phone in the regular browser, such as Safari or Chrome. There is no separate app in the App Store or Google Play. You go to the same address as on your computer and sign in with the same account. On a narrow screen, Qyveno adapts by itself.
Getting back to Qyveno quickly
Want to open Qyveno with one tap? Most phone browsers can put a shortcut on your home screen, through the share menu or the browser menu. That shortcut simply opens Qyveno in the browser. A bookmark works too, of course.
Finding your way
- The sidebar with your workspaces and boards sits behind the menu button at the top left (Open menu). Pick a board and the menu closes by itself. Tap outside the menu to close it without choosing.
- A board's toolbar is more compact. The button for a new item and the search field are at the top. Person, Filter, Sort and Hide are small buttons that show a number when something is active.
- A board's views sit in a row you can swipe sideways.
Viewing and changing items
Instead of the table, your phone shows a list of cards, grouped as on the board. Each card shows the name, the first status, the people and the first date. You see the same items in the same order as in the table, with the same filters.
- Tap a group header to collapse or expand the group.
- If an item has subitems, tap the small button with the count on the right of the card to show them.
- At the bottom of each group you can add a new item.
Tap a card to open the item. The item panel then fills the whole screen. On your phone it has an extra Details tab: that is where you change the values of all columns, since there is no table to do it in. Updates and Files are there too, just like on a computer. The arrow at the top left (Back to the board) takes you back.
Changing several items at once
- Press and hold a card for a moment. The phone gives a short buzz (if it can) and the card is checked.
- Tap other cards to check them as well. At the top you see how many are selected, with Select all.
- A bar with actions for the selection appears at the bottom.
- Finished? Tap Done, or use your phone's back gesture.
A viewer can look at items but cannot select or change them.
What works differently
Almost everything you do on a computer also works on your phone. A few things work differently because the screen is narrower:
- Dashboards show in a single column. Moving widgets around or tidying them up is something you do on a computer. See Dashboards.
- The Gantt has a narrower names column. You can move bars with your finger. See Timeline and Gantt.
- Workflows appear as a list of steps instead of a drawing.
Under the eye on an update you can see who has seen it, and whether that was on a computer or a phone. Read more in Updates and files.
